Bringing a viral Dubai dessert concept to Nairobi — and making it feel like it was always meant to be here.
Freez arrived in Kenya as an unknown brand — even though it was No.1 in Dubai. The challenge was to create a sense of desirability, exclusivity, and cultural fit in Nairobi before the doors even opened. The brand needed to feel like an event, not just another dessert spot.
We built the pre-launch tension through a carefully sequenced teaser campaign — cryptic posts, behind-the-scenes footage, and count-down content that built anticipation before the first product was ever shown. When we revealed the brand, it felt like a moment. The opening day content was engineered to travel, and it did — reaching hundreds of thousands of Nairobi food lovers in the first week.
We then maintained the momentum with consistent content production, UGC activation, and influencer-adjacent organic strategy to sustain the buzz through the first two months of operation.
Freez Kenya went viral before it fully opened, with launch content reaching over half a million views organically. The Eastleigh and Riverside branches both opened to queues and have maintained strong walk-in traffic driven by consistent social content. The brand is now one of Nairobi's most tagged dessert experiences on Instagram and TikTok.
Our Dubai dessert concept felt like a Nairobi brand from day one. The content Kontent produced made us go viral before we even fully opened our doors. We couldn't have asked for a better launch.
